[ooc: I'm sorry, but I just cannot post a short bio about my character. So here is my bio.]
About Your Character
Full name: Laken Rose Cullens
Nickname(s): ---
Age: Sixteen
Year: Sixth
Gender: Female
House: Hufflepuff
Blood: Muggle born
Pets: ---
Apperance: Everyone wishes they could be someone else. No one is ever truly happy with themselves, there is always something we all wish we could fix. Everyone always tells Laken Rose Cullens they wish they were her, she always tells them to be care what they wish for. She herself isn't very fond of her looks, though everyone else seems to be rather fond of them.
With almond shaped eyes that she always thought looked slightly Asian, Laken's eyes were a vivid blue. She didn't like them, not even as they changed. Her color of eyes varied between the vivid blue that stuck out like a sore thumb and a gray-blue, a mellow version of the vivid color. They could be any color in between, and that was annoying to her. It was like her eyes were unpredictable, which is found a hastle.
People were fond of being skinny. They liked to not eat and brag about how little they've eatten that day. They like to call it a diet, but Laken calls it tourture. She is lucky enough to not have to watch what she eats. With a naturally high matabolism, she thin, almost to the point where people will ask her if she's eatten that day. Eatting like a pig doesn't help the poor girl, nothing will stay on her bones. She is a skinny girl, something people wanted about her, something she'd gladly give them.
Lips where another area that the girl wished she could have removed. They were big, full, and beautiful but it made her seem like she was always on the verge of tears. Her lips were in the pouty state by nature and she would much rather have that gone. It was rather annoying to have people ask if she was alright all the time. She was perfectly fine, it was just her lips said otherwise. What a neusence.
Something people judged you on was your skin. The paler the better. If you had pale skin, it must mean you're smart, funny, pretty, and perfect. Well, Laken must be all of those times ten. Her skin was a milky tone, very sensitive to the sun. She couldn't wake up in the morning and not put some lotion with suncreen in it on. It was very important or she would be pink by the end of the day. People would kill for her skin, and she'd gladly let them have it. She has so much she wished she could change about herself.
Personality: So many words, so little time. Laken Rose Cullens had many things that could be said about her, not only by herself but by others that knew and surrounded her. She said that she was a good friend, someone people could depend on, and would listen to anyone. She also said she was a horrible, shallow, judgemental person. People around her would agree with the first.
A good friend listens to people, will be loyal, and not care about anything but your friendship. Laken is a good friend indeed. She will willingly give an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and a word of comfort. Yes, she is a good friend indeed. Though, everyone has downfalls and shortcomings. On the flip side, there must be an opposite trait to balance this one out.
Laken is a judgemental person, though she hides it quiet well. She notices the bad in people but does not say anything. She will not act on her judgements but that does not mean she doesn't have them. She will notice the little things about someone that no one else will that just bothers her, but she won't hold that against the person. She feels she's a horrible person because she has all these judgements that she holds in, feeling like she's the only one who notices.
Someone people can depend on is another truth about her. If someone would like her to do something, well, she'll get it done. Laken isn't one to let things go unfinished or to not keep a promise to someone. She is a very dependable person, almost to a fault. This goes hand in hand with her loyalty to people, especially those she loves. It can get on her nerve sometimes how loyal and dependable she is. She loves to have these traits but it gets a little tedious.
History: Born on December 24 in London, England to a muggle family, Laken Rose Cullens grew up like any little muggle girl would. She born into a family with that had not a whole lot of money but still managed to make ends meet. Her parents didn't give her everything but they did give her somethings; she understood the value of a dollar but she still had things she wanted.
When she was little, she lived in the neighboorhood where there were a bunch of children her age and the parents let them stay out and play until the streetlights came on. She had a great social life. She spent her days playing baseball, kickball, and all that with the boys and playing dolls, school, and dress up with the girls. It was a very happy and entertaining childhood.
Her fmaily life wasn't a horrible life either. Her parents had the ecantional fight every now and then but that was normal. When she was six, her mother gave birth to another little girl, Katya Lee. Laken was jealous at first of the little girl because her parents gave her more attention but she grew out of that and kept playing with her friends.
When she was eleven, the family got a shock when they recieved the owl that said Laken was a witch. Things had been kind of funny for her since she was ten, but the summer after she turned eleven, she got the letter accepting her to Hogwarts. She was extatic, ready to face all the magical world, ready to lead a new and exciting life. Little did she know that when she got there, things wouldn't be so great.
Hiding all the Wizarding world drama and conflict from her parents, Laken still loved being a witch. Though she secretly hoped Katya wouldn't be a witch so she could avoid the Dark Lord and all things bad, her wish came true the summer before her sixth year, the year Katya would have recieve her letter. She was not a witch.
Still going to school, having her parents believe live in the Wizarding world is truly magical, her life has so far been blessed to not get in too deep with the chaos. Laken hopes it will stay that way.
